Material of wire clamps

GUFERO wire clamps are manufactured from PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PVC is the material most frequently used for the manufacture of wire clamps. This material provides wire clamps with good chemical resistance. An additional advantage of this material for wire clamps is its thermal resistance. wire clamps have a circular shape.  

Design of wire clamps

A wire clamps consists of a narrow PVC strip. At one end of the wire clamps the circular shape is discontinued. The discontinuation is terminated using two eyes by means of which the wire clamps are attached to the base material. This way of anchoring the wire clamps provides the possibility to use screws or wood screws of any length with the only limitation being the diameter of the wire clamps.

Dimensions of wire clamps

You will find wire clamps of varying dimensions in our order system. The diameter of the wire clamps is determined by its size when in a tightened condition, which means that it determines the maximum diameter of the cable line that can be connected. For better orientation and correct selection of the wire clamps required the dimensions are provided both in millimetres and inches. The dimensions available in our shop range from 4.8 mm (3/16”) to 25.4 mm (1”).

Versions of wire clamps
