GUFERO R-clips are a well-known type of split pin where no bending is necessary. R-clips are manufactured from high quality elastic steel. Due to their profile, R-clips look like the letter R, this type of R-clips are therefore sometimes called R-clips. The shape of the spring pin encompasses half of the cross-section of the stub and thus prevents it from falling out. Unlike bent wire split pins, the cross-section of R-clips is circular and there is therefore no need to rove two ends through the stub. This type of split pin can be mainly used for frequently dismantled connections, such as connections in trailers and equipment for tractors and industrial machines. GUFERO R-clips are manufactured in accordance with the DIN 11024 production standard which guarantees both the high quality of the spring pin material and adherence to required dimensions. R-clips are available in two versions. The SINGLE version R-clips consist of a single eye, locking pin and a semicircular socket. The DOUBLE version R-clips have a double eye at the end. This secures higher elasticity of the steel and in general provides the spring pin with greater strength. We supply R-clips for locking wire with dimensions of 1.4 - 8 mm. A great quantity of Retaining pins is therefore available at all times. The R-clips are supplied in two versions - zinc plated and stainless steel.
