These lock pins are similar to straight lock pins. The design of the lock pins for tubes is very similar to that of the straight lock pins. The only difference is that the locking wire is not circular in shape but a double semi-circle. The selection of this shape for the securing of the lock pin for tubes allows this type of lock pin to be used for connecting long tubes (such as scaffolding) which need to be dismantled. The manufacture of this type of lock pins is dictated by the DIN 11023 standard. We supply lock pins for tubes with pin diameters of 6 - 11 mm. The lock pins for tubes are manufactured in either zinc plated or stainless steel versions so that they always have an excellent resistance to weathering and thermal influences.
